I didn't even own a PC that would run any version of windoze until 2000. Then I spent so many years on dA being very active that what little time i spent away from there was spent console gaming. IF I could, I'd have an XBox and a PS3.
I'm curious what's to come though.

The PC had 95 on it and I UPGRADED it to 98 then ME. I eventually had the huge 32G drive split with 2000 on one partition and ME on the other. I fought against XP for a long time. Privacy concerns and my tin foil hat on too tight.
Once I got XP I have never had to roll back, reinstall or image my drive. (*knock on wood*)
I bought the XP Pro upgrade and did a clean single partition install and never looked back. Currently running XP Home on my HP tower for a few years on the same install, no issues.
Living through 95/98/ME will make you learn how to NOT destroy your OS.
I don't miss the blue screen of death though..

I've never had issues with XP, or as weird as it sounds, Vista. Granted Vista needed a lot of tweaking, but hey.
I missed the BSOD, so I grabbed the BSOD screen saver >.>

My issues have been with hardware.
Moved to Cincinnati and my video card died. Moved to a new apartment here and my power supply died. Two months later my 19"crt died. My mic jack is jacked and speaking on vent or elsewhere is out of the question, unless you relish in static.

I can get Reign of Chaos or the Battle Chest for 30USD, each, from Amazon.
