Alienware & Steam, Sitting in a Tree..
Category: General -
Post Date: Nov 26, 2009
Hardware manufacturer Alienware has announced that they're going to start shipping Steam preinstalled on their Area-51 and Aurora desktops and the M17x and M15x laptops.
Not only that, but they will also be including a free copy of Portal.
Admitedly, a free copy of a fairly cheap game (Cheap for what you get) isn't going to inspire you to part with thousands of dollars, or pounds, for an Alienware system you were unsure about - But it's nice to see the encouragement of legal digital distribution coupled with one of the larger prebuild gaming PC distributors.

Yeah, I will most likely never buy an Alienware box in my life.

Well, no, but some people should either not be allowed to try, or simply don't want to take the plunge

Haha, ok sure. However people like that should just stick to consoles.

Have I mentioned I'm a PC elitist?
