Paintball = Bigger balls, filled with paint. More pain, more money.
Airsoft = 6mm BB's, no paint, varying weight (I use ether .25 gram, or .43) less pain, but more hits on the target. Less money :B
I think it depends on the atmosphere as to which you take to, s'why I took to Airsoft. Paintball sites around here are just.. Awful.

If it's warmer (Not hot) then green gas can push it upwards of 550, if it's colder then closer to 490 on green, 400 on Abby Ultra.

This rifle has about ten different designations name wise. It all depends where the thing was manufactured, and which military is refering to it :B
This model is a replica of the Accuracy International .338 Lapua Magnum, whereas the AWP is the same base model which typically takes .243 Win and .308 Win.
Not that I'm a fan of this rifle manufacturer at all
